How to sell a clothes washer
Tips on how to sell a Clothes Washer:
Increase the level of service to your customers and outshine your competition by:
- Asking customers if they know the energy savings benefits of considering a WashWise clothes washer;
- Stressing energy, water, and utility bill savings;
- Ensuring that a customer has an incentive form and making an extra copy of their purchase receipt (to submit with their completed form);
- Providing customers with a place to sit down and complete the rebate form while they are waiting for the purchase transaction to be completed;
Help customers receive their clothes washer incentive faster by:
- Asking customer if they need help with the installation of their new clothes washer;
- Reviewing the qualifications and specifications for the rebate with your customer;
- Reviewing the rebate form with the customer;
- Telling the customer where they can find the serial number on their machines;
- Providing proof of purchase and any other required documentation;
- Reminding your customer that there is a deadline of 90 days for submitting their rebate form.

Who is eligible for program participation?
Customers of the following utilities who purchase a qualified clothes washer model are eligible for a rebate of up to $100.
