About the WashWise Clothes Washer Rebate Program
The WashWise Clothes Washer Rebate program encourages Washington citizens to save water and conserve energy by providing incentives to retail customers who make the choice to purchase an ENERGY STAR® rated qualifying energy-efficient clothes washer. The WashWise program is a coalition of over 33 electric and water utilities who combined have contributed over $5.6 million worth of rebates to their customers.
Since its inception in 2007, the WashWise program has saved a total of 24.5 million kWh energy and 678 million gallons of water. These conservation efforts preserve natural resources, protect habitat and maintain a healthy environment for the Puget Sound region and beyond.
Participating Utilities
Attention Seattle City Light Customers
Seattle City Light (SCL) is no longer a participating utility of the WashWise Clothes Washer Rebate program. SCL offers a separate clothes washer rebate for its customers. For a rebate application, qualified product list or more information, visit www.seattle.gov/appliances.
